We spent a weekend in Vieste, Italy last summer at an agriturismo called Torre Silvana. The website is www.torresilvana.it The hosts are very nice, the prices are reasonable and the food is great! It is a 5 minute drive to the beach and your hosts Gianpaolo and Antonio can make reservations for beach chairs if you request it. You can take a boat ride from the harbor along the Adriatic coast or hike in the Foresta Umbra in Gargano National Park. The town is located at the very end of the Gargano Peninsula (the "spur" of the boot) and is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from Naples.
