Hi Yolanda! Yes, if you call the housing trouble desk they will come to your house on SS to pick up large items you want to throw away. We have done it a couple times. I'm a volunteer at the thrift store on SS and can tell you that they will take furniture if you can drop it off there, they will just have to leave it outside to sell it! However if it is stained, broken, torn, or otherwise something you wouldn't buy for quality reasons just go ahead and toss it please =)
